Return & Warranty Policy

At BadmintonHouse.com, we want you to be fully satisfied with your gear. If your purchase isnโ€™t quite right, we are here to help. Please review our guidelines below to ensure a smooth return process.


1. Return Period

  • Items can be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • All returns must be pre-authorized. Please email us at info@badmintonhouse.ca with your order number to start the process.

2. Condition of Items

To be eligible for a return, items must be in new, unused, and original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

  • Rackets: The factory plastic wrap on the handle must be unbroken. Rackets that have been strung at your request (custom stringing) are considered customized and are Final Sale.
  • Shoes: Must be unworn and in the original shoe box. Please do not apply tape or shipping labels directly to the shoe box; use an outer shipping carton.
  • Apparel: Must be unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags attached.
  • Shuttles & Accessories: Tubes of shuttlecocks, grips, and strings must be unopened and in their original sealed packaging.

3. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

  • Items purchased on Sale or Clearance.
  • Rackets with the handle plastic removed or those that have been custom-strung.
  • Used items or items showing any signs of wear.
  • Gift Cards.

4. Refunds & Fees

  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns that require repackaging or to shoe returns sent back without a protective outer shipping box.
  • Free Shipping Adjustment: If a return brings your original order total below the "Free Shipping" threshold, the standard shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

5. Manufacturer Warranty

Important: Most rackets carry a 6-month manufacturer warranty against defects. Do not cut the strings if you suspect a frame crack, as manufacturers require the strings to be intact to analyze the tension pattern.

  • Warranty does not cover "clashes" (hitting another racket) or accidental damage.
  • The final decision on warranty claims rests solely with the manufacturer (Yonex, Victor, Li-Ning, etc.).

How to Request a Return

  1. Email Us: Contact info@badmintonhouse.ca with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Pack Securely: Ensure the item is in its original packaging and placed inside a proper shipping box.
  3. Ship It: Send the package using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
