Badminton Courts in Brampton

Brampton has multiple private badminton facilities plus municipal recreation-centre drop-ins. Exact court counts and surfaces change by venue, so use each booking page for current availability.

TJ's Sports Club

10-court Brampton facility for booked courts and junior coaching. TJ's hosts Badminton Ontario provincial tournaments; check the live Badminton Ontario calendar for the current season.

No public drop-in. TJ's badminton page sells coaching packages, not pay-at-the-door sessions. The one drop-in it mentions is free games for players already inside the TJ's Elite program. Come with a booked court or a coaching spot; you cannot simply turn up and pay at the desk.

APlus Sport Club

APlus Sport Club, also searched as APlus Badminton, has 14 courts on Erin Mills Parkway, court rental, drop-in play and coaching. Compare a monthly pass with the number of sessions you expect to attend.

APlus's homepage and drop-in page disagree about the late-afternoon 4 PM to 9 PM window, and neither dates the offer, so phone 905-403-8088 before planning an after-work drop-in.

4 U has seven courts near the 401 and Dixie. Its weekday noon–4 PM drop-in is $8 + HST for the afternoon, excluding holidays. Compare the monthly pass with your expected visits.

Courts available around the clock on Aimco Blvd. Smash publishes no drop-in timetable on its public pages — sessions live inside its CourtReserve booking portal, and a session needs at least 4 players per court before it runs. Reserve through the portal instead of turning up hopefully.

Drop-In Badminton in Brampton and Mississauga

City of Brampton Recreation Centres

Brampton runs year-round drop-in badminton, listed as "Badminton Drop-In (4+ Years)" and "(18+ Years)", at Gore Meadows and Cassie Campbell. Sessions last 1 to 1.5 hours and cost $0.00 to $5.02 depending on the program and age band. Booking goes through the City's PerfectMind portal, and the window matters: residents and members can reserve 25 hours ahead, while a non-resident without a membership only gets a spot an hour before the session starts. Turn up on time, too — the City releases your place if you are more than 15 minutes late.

In summer 2026 the City also ran a free all-ages drop-in for ages 4 and up, sponsored by 407 ETR, from June 29 to September 6, 2026, at Balmoral, Cassie Campbell, Century Gardens, Gore Meadows, Jim Archdekin and Terry Miller. Sessions were frequently marked full. That program was tied to summer 2026 and is not a standing offer, so if you are reading outside those dates, check the live calendar before counting on free play.

These are the city gyms with marked badminton courts. Having courts is not the same as running a session you can join, so confirm the centre you want on the drop-in calendar before you travel.

City of Mississauga Recreation

Drop-in badminton runs at 10 city community centres: Meadowvale, Huron Park, Burnhamthorpe, Frank McKechnie, Churchill Meadows, Mississauga Valley Gymnasium, Malton, River Grove, Carmen Corbasson and Erin Meadows. Rates in force from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027 are $7.12 for an adult 18+ single visit, or $6.40 each on a 5-visit pass; youth 10–17, students, people with disabilities and older adults 55+ pay $3.22 single or $2.91 on a 5-visit pass. Taxes are extra.

Two quirks in the City's own booking system are worth knowing before you decide there is no badminton near you. The Active Mississauga drop-in calendar shows an empty week until you pick a specific community centre, and searching the portal for the keyword "badminton" returns registered lessons only, never drop-in sessions. Choose the centre first, then read its calendar — or call 905-615-4100.

Badminton Clubs in Mississauga and Brampton

The community clubs below use school gyms and seasonal registration. Speedy lists a $110 season; Lakeview’s 2026–27 membership is $225 for returning members or $250 for new members.
